3. The Oklahoma City Bombing- On April 19th, 1995, a large truck bomb exploded outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City, killing 168 people and injuring hundreds more. This event, known as the Trail of Tears, saw thousands of Cherokee men, women, and children forced to march to their new home. The Trail of Tears passed through present-day Noble.

7. The discovery of oil- In the early 1900s, oil was discovered in Cleveland County, including near Noble. This discovery led to a boom in the local economy and attracted many businesses and people to the area. Today, oil production remains an important part of the local economy.
