Beaverton City Library (BCL) is a public library system serving approximately 148,000 residents in Beaverton and parts of unincorporated Washington County, Oregon. The Main Library, located at 12375 SW 5th Street, offers a 69,000 sq. ft. facility with a makerspace, study rooms, meeting spaces, and hosts various events, including storytimes and an annual community-wide reading program. The Murray Scholls Branch, situated at 11200 SW Murray Scholls Place, focuses on youth collections and storytimes. BCL also operates a Bookmobile serving the greater Beaverton area. The library system circulates over 2.6 million items annually and provides access to a collection exceeding 315,000 items across its locations.
