About

Bridges Library System is a network of 24 public libraries serving Jefferson and Waukesha counties in southeastern Wisconsin. Established in 1981 as the Waukesha County Federated Library System, it expanded in 2016 to include Jefferson County and adopted its current name. The system's mission is to strengthen member libraries by fostering collaboration and innovation. Key services include managing the CAFÉ online catalog, coordinating material delivery, and providing access to digital resources such as e-books, audiobooks, and databases. A CAFÉ library card grants patrons borrowing privileges at all member libraries and access to shared digital collections. The main office is located at 741 N. Grand Avenue, Suite 210, Waukesha, WI 53186, and can be reached at 262-896-8080.
