About

Northland Public Library, established in 1968, serves the communities of McCandless, Ross Township, Franklin Park, Marshall Township, and Bradford Woods in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The library offers a collection of over 200,000 physical items, including books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, and CDs, as well as access to more than 1.8 million downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, eMagazines, videos, and music. It provides various programs for all ages and a quiet space for study and learning. In December 2025, the library completed a yearlong renovation, introducing a two-story extension, accessible entrance, expanded teen space, and a new conference room. Northland is a member of the Allegheny County Library Association and operates under the Northland Public Library Authority, receiving funding from the five municipalities it serves.
