About Christopher Reeve

Christopher Reeve was an American actor, director, and activist born on September 25, 1952. He was best known for his role as Superman in the film series that began in 1978. In 1995, Reeve was paralyzed from the neck down after a horse-riding accident. He became a prominent advocate for spinal cord injury research until his death on October 10, 2004.
