How are kids different now than 30 years ago?
teaching now versus 30 years ago. Well, I have not been in teaching that long to know exactly the differences, but I do know that kids now and teaching now are different kids now have social media.
They have a way to interact with the world that's does not face to face. And so then when we are face-to-face and we are in the classroom and we're learning it sometimes can be more challenging for students to think about, well, how do I talk to this person? That's sitting next to me instead of someone who's on my phone, on social media.
How is teaching different now than 30 years ago?
Teaching now from 30 years ago, it feels like it is a lot faster pace. We have so many things that we cover every day. We have high expectations for our students, and we do also have a lot of technology to help us out. And a lot of ways, I love it.
