2. On April 8, 1949, David Berger was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio. He was a promising weightlifter who competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany. Unfortunately, he was one of the eleven members of the Israeli Olympic team who were taken hostage and eventually killed by Palestinian terrorists.

5. Pro Football Hall of Famer Orlando Pace was born in Sandusky, Ohio on April 8, 1975. Pace was a standout offensive lineman who played for the St. Louis Rams from 1997 to 2008 and helped lead the team to a Super Bowl championship in 1999. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016.
