1. On February 10, 1933, the infamous "spree killer" Charles Arthur Floyd, also known as "Pretty Boy Floyd," was arrested in East Liverpool, Ohio. Floyd was born in Adairsville, Georgia, but spent much of his life in Oklahoma, where he became involved in criminal activity, particularly bank robberies.

2. On February 10, 1939, Hugo, Oklahoma became the site of the first public demonstration of television in the state. A television broadcast was received in Hugo from a transmitter located in Dallas, Texas, and displayed on a large screen in front of a crowd of spectators.

3. In 1971, Oklahoma City-based rock band The Flaming Lips played their first ever live show on February 10, at a venue called The Hill in Norman, Oklahoma. Over the years, the band has developed a cult following and become known for their experimental, psychedelic sound and elaborate stage shows.

4. February 10, 1925 was the day that the town of Picher, Oklahoma was incorporated. Picher was once a thriving mining town, known for producing lead and zinc, but in the 1970s and 80s it began to experience severe environmental problems due to mining waste contamination. The town was eventually abandoned, and in 2009 it was officially disincorporated.

5. On February 10, 1918, the USS Oklahoma was commissioned at the New York Navy Yard. The Oklahoma was a Nevada-class battleship that served in World War I and World War II, and was famously sunk during the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. Today, the ship is memorialized at the USS Oklahoma Memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii.
