5. The Ethan Allen Homestead Museum in Burlington, which celebrates the life and legacy of Vermont's famous Revolutionary War hero, opened its doors to the public on March 4, 1962. The museum includes the replica of Ethan Allen's house, a museum store, and a Visitor Center.
