The pandemic, which ultimately claimed the lives of millions of people worldwide, had a devastating impact on Utah communities, particularly in rural areas where healthcare resources were limited.

3. In 1933, members of the Civilian Conservation Corps arrived in Utah to begin work on various conservation projects throughout the state. The CCC, which was established by President Franklin D. 5. In 2019, the Utah Jazz basketball team played their first preseason game against the Adelaide 36ers of the Australian National Basketball League. The game, which was played at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, marked the first time that an NBL team had played against an NBA team in the United States.
