The South Dakota State Capitol hosted a memorial service on the one-year anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The service featured Governor Janklow, members of the state’s congressional delegation, and state and local officials.

On the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, a memorial was dedicated in Sioux Falls. The memorial features two steel beams from the World Trade Center and honors the victims and first responders of 9/11.
